Our Fees

We offer competitive, tailored rates for bookkeeping and tax preparation:

Payroll only

If you do your own books and only need us to do payroll, the fees will reflect the number of employees you have and how often your employees are paid. Our lowest fees are $20/mo. As an example, a small construction company with several employees in Alberta can expect to pay $50 to $60/mo for bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll.

Bookkeeping Fees

Bookkeeping fees vary from company to company. They can be as little as $50 for the entire year for a small proprietorship. Or they could be $1,500 per month for an active company with many employees and documents, needing full time attention.

A good gauge of what to expect for most companies, providing we receive all of the documentation, would be around $150 per month for every 2 or 3 pages of bank statements and credit card statements that your company has. The fees could be higher or lower depending on the number of customers you invoice each month, the number of employees you pay and how often they get paid, and the number of vendor accounts you have.

Some of our clients still like to be billed by the hour, as they are seasonal. Other clients like to pay monthly or quarterly. Flat rates are tailored to fit each business. Contact us for a quote specific to you.

Corporate Tax Returns

We have a flat rate of $1,850 for T2 returns. If you have a more complex T2 with elections that need to be filed or extra work that needs to be completed, there may be additional fees. Conversely, we do offer a discounted T2 if it is really simple and you don’t need Compiled Financial Statements (also called Notice to Reader Financial Statements).

Personal Tax Returns

These are our most common flat fees relating to personal tax returns:

  • $110 T1 personal tax return

  • $70 Spousal return

  • $80 Business, Farming, or Fishing Statement

  • $110 Agristability/AgriInvest Statement

  • $50 Rental Income Statement

  • $40 Employment Expenses

The above fees for personal taxes do not include any bookkeeping fees (if required).
