  • Containers and twine

  • Fertilizers and lime

  • Pesticides (herbicides, insecticides, fungicides)

  • Seeds and plants

  • Feed, supplements, straw, and bedding

  • Livestock purchased

  • Veterinary fees, medicine, and breeding fees

  • Machinery repairs, licenses, and insurance

  • Machinery gasoline, diesel, and oil

  • Building and fence repairs and maintenance

  • Clearing, leveling, and draining land

  • Crop insurance, Revenue Protection Program, and stabilization premiums

  • Custom or contract work, including machine rentals

  • Electricity (farm portion only: barns, waterers, etc.)

  • Heating and curing fuel

  • Insurance program overpayments recapture

  • Small tools

  • Mandatory inventory adjustment included in prior year

  • Optional inventory adjustment included in prior year
