About Tamira

I'm Tamira Nott, the founder of TNT Global Accounting. I started my first business at 21 — young enough that I learned most of what I know the hard way. Like any entrepreneur, my focus was on finding customers, doing good work, and making ends meet, all while trying not to get buried under the rules and regulations that seem to appear out of nowhere. Working through those rules taught me something that's stuck with me ever since: your taxes are a direct result of how your books are kept. I've always found real satisfaction in that side of the business.

As my company grew, I saw firsthand how proper books and smart tax planning work together. I was also a single mom at the time, which meant I had to be resourceful with both time and money — and I learned to find every legitimate dollar available when I prepared my own business taxes each year.

That experience is what led me to start providing bookkeeping and accounting services for other business owners, so they could benefit from what I'd already learned the hard way. I'm detail-oriented by nature, and I treat my clients' books as if they were my own — making it my mission to catch what others might overlook, and to make sure every available tax break gets used.

You won't be billed every time you pick up the phone. I believe staying in touch with clients is part of the job, not an extra service — which is also why I travel to see many of my business clients in person. Getting to know a business up close makes a real difference in how well I can serve it, and I'm grateful for the long relationships I've built this way.
